I used to return to narnia a lot in my writing. the idea that you never really know where you’ll end up when you open the door — that one ordinary moment can lead somewhere entirely different. Narnia was wonder, escape, possibility.
Lately, that door feels different. not gone, just changed.
Narnia is now nirvana. Not in the dramatic sense, not in the way we’re taught to imagine happiness, but in a quieter, truer way. A flow state. A kind of peace that doesn’t come with expectation, or achievement, or arrival. The kind that doesn’t need to be explained or witnessed.
This drop lives in that space — between imagination and reality, between wanting and releasing. Between being seen and staying private. It’s about going analog, paying attention, letting things be softer than we were told they had to be. You never know where you’ll end up when you open the door, but sometimes, where you land is enough.
