The Beauty of Shared Womanhood: The First 224 Women’s Club Gathering

Connection is at the forefront of the human race. We were designed for it — to know one another, to be seen, to be held. There’s something profoundly beautiful about going from girlhood into womanhood, but there’s something even more powerful about shared womanhood — the kind that reminds you you’re not walking this world alone.

That’s why I started the 224 Women’s Club — to deepen the connections I already have and to create a space for new ones. I wanted to bring women together in a way that felt intentional, warm, and true. A space that’s rooted in grace, in laughter, in softness — but also in growth.

There’s something so extraordinary about being able to meet someone exactly where they are in life and to be met with kindness. To be seen for who you are in that moment. To be complimented, celebrated, challenged, and held. That, to me, is what womanhood is about — learning to see yourself reflected in the women around you, and realizing that no matter how different we are, we’re all part of the same becoming.

the invitation, so cutesy

On Wednesday, I hosted the first official 224 Women’s Club gathering — my own little 224 dinner. I made pasta (the first one went terribly, but the second one turned out perfect). I set the table with a simple centerpiece, candles, and all the small touches that make a dinner feel special. My friends — Cara, Alyssa, Kaia, Nicole, and Morgan — came over, with Laura and Sage was there in spirit. Kaia brought me flowers since we hadn’t seen each other in so long, and she also brought pumpkin pie, while Kara brought apple. It was cozy, lighthearted, and full of that unmistakable feeling of home.

After dinner, we had dessert and our first official 224 session. We followed along with the print out I made!

We shared about ourselves — our current favorites, what’s been on our hearts, what we’re growing through. We talked about our creative work, the things we’re proud of, and the things we’re finally ready to let go of. We laughed, we listened, we learned from one another. It was one of those nights that fills you up in the best way — the kind of energy that lingers even after everyone’s gone home.

We also pulled “Read When” prayer cards and talked about what this season of life looks like for each of us. And as we went around the table, I was reminded again of how incredible it is when women — from different paths, with different perspectives — come together and realize that even in all our differences, there’s a shared heartbeat.

Because the truth is, we need womanhood. We really, really do. We need the sisterhood, the softness, the safe spaces, and the shared laughter. We need the long talks and the creative challenges. We need to be able to say, “This is where I am,” and have someone look back at us and say, “Me too.”

moomoo&pie? what’s better than that?

The 224 Women’s Club is just the beginning. I’m so excited to grow it into a space that celebrates all the layers of womanhood — for women who are alike and different, for women who want to grow, explore, and reconnect. We’ll have dinners, brunches, creative nights, and an online community that extends beyond our county. A place that feels like home, no matter where you are.

Because you can’t walk this world alone. And you shouldn’t have to. We need people who challenge us, who help us see new parts of ourselves, who remind us of what’s possible. We’re all in this season of becoming — at every age, but especially in our twenties. And I think it’s time we start wrapping ourselves in community, in light, and in love.

To lift each other up.

To hold space.

To grow, together.

We hope to see more faces at the next sesh!
