What Message Are You Giving the World Through Your Silence?

What Message Are You Giving the World Through Your Silence?

Yes, there are times when silence is sacred.
When quiet becomes healing.
When stillness is strength.
When silence is your power.

But there are other times—
When silence becomes surrender.
When what you don’t say starts to speak for you.

Silence can look like complicity.
Like fear dressed up as humility.
Like doubt pretending to be discernment.
Like waiting on “a sign” when you already know.

And when you don’t show up, what message are you sending?
Isn’t who you are—your feelings, your dreams, your soul—worth speaking on?
Even your mess. Even your uncertainty. Even your ache.

We gain nothing by staying silent once we’ve healed.
Once we’ve grown. Once we know better.

Some things deserve to be heard:
Your voice.
Your gifts.
Your concern.
Your story.
Your opinion.
Your discernment.
Your truth.

Do not shrink yourself.
Do not silence yourself for the comfort of others.
Because when you shrink yourself, the message you send is:
“My gift isn’t worth hearing.”
“My calling can wait.”
“I’ll answer God eventually.”

But the world is already loud with lies.
Why would you withhold your truth?
Why would you hide your art?
Why would you bury your story?

Your silence is saying something.
Are you okay with what it’s saying?

I’m a big fan of let them.
Let them think. Let them judge.
Let them twist it into their own narrative.
Let them.

But I’ll never silence myself again.
Not when it comes to my brand.
Not when it comes to my words.
Not when it comes to my heart.
Not when it comes to what I want for the world, for people, for love.

Because if I silence myself—
I silence my gift.
I silence God’s voice in me.
I silence the truth in my own heart.

There’s power in silence.
We all know the moments that call for it.

But when it comes to your soul—
When it comes to your purpose—
When it comes to your truth—

Start. Using. It.
